OSX bootscreen for Cinema Displays

I've been away for a long while, but I return bearing gifts. This is an OSX bootscreen for those using cinema displays or widescreen laptops. Bootscreens made for conventional monitors do not compensate for the different aspect ratio within the 640x480 resolution image (the highest allowed for an XP boot screen) so the image looks stretched and just plain wrong. This boot screen fixes that. Looks best at 1920x1200.

A skin for Stardock's Bootskin app is provided to make it easy, or if you wish, just use the bmp in the skin folder and mod the appropriate system file to do it yourself directly.

Yes, that would be the coup de gras. Unfortunately there is no way to get any animation other than the left to right bar animation that is native to XP.

Stardock was supposed to be making BootSkin one day support different types of animation and true colour images. Although I haven't heard word on it in awhile which makes me think it is no longer a go.
