[Request] Decent Shell Player.... [EXE/ Dock/Desk-Let based]

I was thinking to put this post in Ave's request section but thought this would be the perfect place.

I've installed so many Media Players (WMP, QT, REAL etc) and also Codecs of all sorts. Now, there comes a time when I want to double click a file and want the playback at super fast speed so, I want someone to make a shell player (a *.EXE) OR a dock/desk-let instead. All decent players register themselves in Internet Explorer plug-in area for example Macromedia Flash, QuickTime, Windows Media Player etc etc. When we double click a file, it loads up its own EXE file (wmplayer.exe) which is slow in old PCs but when you see a Website playing files it only uses certain components of player (which I will call "CORE" of media player). All I want is that someone make shell player that can use the Internet Explorer's registered plug-ins to play the file type.

When I double click mp3, I should see a CORE of Windows Media Player (or default IE-registered player) playing file at super fast speed. If I double click *.MOV file, it should show that small band-like playback controls instead of default QuickTime.EXE shell! In a web page, we can do so many extra settings which non of these plays allowed us to do in it's original EXE shell. For example "ShowDisplay", "AutoRewind","ShowStatusBar","TransparentAtStart" etc etc in WMP. I don't know what to call this thing CORE or ActiveX or whatever but its the FASTEST thing in Media Player and I want that to be used as base.

Microsoft released a "Shell" player with it's "PowerToys" (first release) as part of TaskBar components rembered?? This is the same concept but on AveDesk or Docks or an EXE file.

This Decent Shell Player should be extremly small (for fastest load-ups) If its EXE then its probably compatible with Win9x/me (cool) while if its part of Desk/Dock-Let then we all know the answer of compatiblity :( / :)

Imagine how many file types it can handle after giving initial birth :) *.mov *.qt *.mp3 *.mpg *.SWF (*.pdf?? may be) *.avi etc etc etc ALL at thrilling speed, Just an imagination makes me feel so cool :):D

1. don't use official real/quicktime players, but rather their freeware/adfree alternatives (google for "quick time alternative" and "real alternative"). it's fast and free.

2. use media player classic. it's fast and free.

Yes indeed, that is something that most of us do, but my point comes in making "ONE" Shell Player that can run all file types and at FASTEST Speed! Media Player Classic hides the original QuickTime's controls (which is installed when you install QT Alternative). They (Apple or MS or XXX) made the formats so their Controls can play better then any of these freebie players so, A shell Player I'm talking about does this kind of thing, opens the default "Controls" or "Core" or "ActiveX" of these players. Forgive me about the names but, I'm not a coder/programmer etc etc so I can only describe it this way :)
