FTP Issues (permissions)

I'm trying to install Movable Type, but whenever I change the permissions of the .cgi files to 755, it goes back to 000 the next time I get info on it, thus it mt-check.cgi gives me 403 Forbidden error. I tried with both Transmit and Cyberduck, and both did the same. Help me please, I need to get my site p and running

Might be an issue with CGI and your host. Try a PHP blog, like b2evolution.
