[Release] MacMSN

Well its here, the final build of my MacMSN skin. For those who have installed previous versions i ask you update to this final release. To do this you must repair you current install of MSN Messenger with the version found here. For those installing the skin for the first time, follow that same link to download and install MSN Messenger 7. Then follow the link below to download MacMSN.

For those Non-English users, an option is available not to patch the messenger language file. I strongly suggest you use this then email me for information about translating the remaining english phrases.

one thing though. pleeeease change the system tray icon to like it was before (the ichat icon). it looked very nice and uniform with my system tray before, but not anymore

also, how can i change the font in my contacts list and everything else to resemble the bolder looking and larger font you have? thanks!

I second Union Jack's request for original ichat msngr systray icon. I tried playing around with reshacker but seems like u've done a pretty clever job with the icons there.

If you dont want to change the icons, perhaps you could show me how to do it for private use.

VIP, i think 'theunknown' is going for 1:1 accuracy. If u see the 'send' button in the mac messenger then u will see they are the exact same size.

And your other query about how to remove 'file, edit, view...'. Simple answer, u cant. This is probably possible with u running objectbar and msn messenger specifically programmed to make objectbar read the menus, but as u know, windows is dumb like that and always has the adjoining menus incorporated into every app.

And 'theunknown', sorry to bother u again, but is that new installer ready? . I mean i know this isnt 'ichat' but what other system tray icon do they use for the msn messenger on the mac, i dont recall one. Anyway, patiently waiting.

thanks, but i figured it out .. you CAN get rid of those, there is a little aqua button to the left of the ADD button, click it and it hides the window frame and tada. no more menus .. thanks again for the pimped skin it rocks

That would be GREAT if you added the iChat one!!! I would love and worship you forever

the systray icons are nice, but I prefer the other ones for the sake of keeping my taskbar unified. If you have iChat icons that resemble the original counterparts more though, thatd be great. i find the ones people use for windows systray icons have the little part on the bottom extending out a little more to the left than the real iChat icons, but hey, thats just a minor detail
