Photoshop tutorials

I'm planning on doing some photoshop tutorials for the community and for some friends of mine. I'm just wondering if anyone has any area of photoshop they would like me to cover?

I'm not talking about how to make aqua buttons etc.. I'm talking about how to USE photoshop - what certain tools do etc, so that people can create their own designs/art with the skills they learn.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hrmm I think a layer masking tutorial would be a good idea. I use it a lot and I think it's really useful.

btw just so you guys will stop asking here's a aqua button(sorta) tutorial that I learned from

Well yeah - I'm well aware of sites like that - but I'm talking about the Aqua side of things......

I started making a photoshop tutorial for getting started, but I didn't know where to start.

BTW, make sure you go through liquify (warping images, etc.)

I support this decision 100% Tricky, more power to ya. You can never have to many tutorials. :D

@Ji-eun

What I'm saying is that I'm offering to create tutorials about Photoshop that show how aqua things are made - while explaining what tools are used and how they are used. Not just a click this button, click that button and your done.....

I'm sorry if you feel so opposed to me offering to help people out; in fact your right. whats the ****ing point - lets just sit back and leech.

jeez, chill the hell out. tutorials / teaching of any kind are the last thing i'd ever be 'opposed to'. for crying out loud get a grip. any more to say to me, send it in PM.

Yea like someone said, i'd like to know how you make that spiffy gradient under you avatar. I mean, I mean know how to do them, but I can never get the colors just right.

#246456

I always create my gradients in greyscale and then apply a colour mask over the top. That way you can concentrate on one thing at a time, it also means I can quickly change the colour or gradient without messing everything up.

And another thing is to apply your gradient as an effect, this means you can re-size your original object without disturbing anything else.

hello friends,

I am beginner in photoshop.I hope this thread will help me in creating aqua buttons..

My request for "tricky" is to post how to create aqua buttons in photoshop for beginners.

So that many people will get benefitted from you.
