Aqua-Soft Forumshi everyone, i just joined the site and just downloaded avetunes and its working great.
But i was wondering how i could get the album art to work? do i need to download a separate desklet for it or something? thank you for the help in advance
how to get album art?
my question for you is... do your mp3s have album art "embedded" in it?... 'coz you know that you have to have that in your mp3 for the album art to be displayed
The avetunes album art only works with iTunes. Import all of your music files into iTunes and enjoy!!!
If you are wondering how to download album art, please visit this post. This application downloads images from Amazon.com into the music file. Make sure to visit the Importer website first because you will need to download Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 for it to work.

from what I know, avetunes and avedesk DOES NOT require .NET Framework installed in order to run and it doesn't download album artworks from amazone.com. Avetunes only gets album artworks from itunes. If you have downloaded the latest version of avetunes, you don't need to add album artworks into your mp3s at all, just put the artwork in the same folder as the mp3s, and rename the artwork to folder.jpg or folder.png, avetunes will automatically get it for ya.

I was referring to the Art Importer program. It requires a .NET framework.
