[help] Drop out the links from My Computer

Can anybody show me how to drop out the links on the left of My Computer as in this screen shot

Right-click around the menu bar and uncheck Links.

If you are also interested, there are registry tweaks to remove the "throbber" (the Windows flag). Google search for it, although a copy is included in FlyakiteOSX if you don't mind the large download for one file.

Uh...if you mean the links that do the common tasks, folder tasks, etc, so that My Computer view (not with Folders, like with Explorer) JUST shows icons...

Go to Folder Options (accessible from the Control Panel or Tools>Options in Explorer or My Computer and select "Use Windows classic folders" instead of "Show common tasks in folders".
