[Request] Dashboard Weather Widget from MWSF
Is this gonna be for Konfab or Avedesk? Twould be really awesome to have it for Konfabulator.
avedesk. but with the resources in hand im sure it can be ported to any widget app. (konfab, kaps, samurize, etc)
Darn. Would be nice if someone modded the Konfab weather widget.
would be easy if I had the images Ive made an aero portthat looks real good.

i really cant take much credit for this, im having mac people send me these resources. they sure are helping though. this latest one has the javascript and everything. AND SOURCE CODE! and mini icons, wow...
Now that we got the resources someone please port this widget to avedesk or konfabulator!!

Ghostwalker - have you gotten a working tray to work? I think I remember seeing a screenshot of oyurs with one.
so so not complete yet and I was wondering about all the wind images also that could change alot of things.

This looks AWESOME! I can't wait for it to come out. I have been trying to customise this whole thing like Mac OS Tiger but I really wanted the weather widget.

ouch. let me make it clear, i have no knowledge of coding this. i just provided the weather resources. thanks to my peeps at neowin. and the dashboard pdf.
im waiting for the avedesk config to come from the aquasoft community though, i know you guys can make it great
the clouds animation was simple, i opened up imageready which comes with photoshop and imported the wind images iin the folder and just clicked play, exported as gif. really simple, the trick is now making it work with avedesk. ive seen that from the itunes configs if you click on the corner you can mkae it display sequence of animation, all in different pngs. so i think its very possible with the resources we now have.
as for release. wait for hyral, ghostwalker, andreas or whoever else is up to the task. i know **** about coding... sorry i cant help any further.

I've made my own interpretation of the dashboard weather widget for samurize. I've spent a nice time trying to adapt the weather images (they are very nice, really) to the fixed samurize size and align them.
That's why this is far for being a Dashboard Weather port (no animations, no background change between night & day)
it is only a personal "semi-nice" use of these beautifull images until, hopefully, a great port here, at aquasoft, is made.
I dont think its worth to release this because it contains a lot of errors and the display of fonts in samurize is terrible.
its ok RELEASE IT. trust me, we all want it. you can be teh first samurize config. there will be avedesk and konfab releases to come. if you need a host pm me.
Yes release, alot of people dont use konfab or avedesk(right) I think all the ports should come out. I will be trying to get the animations and the day/night working in konfab hopefully.
