Can OB display program name rather than titlebar text?

I have no doubt this has been asked before but I cannot find an answer anywhere or I just can't find the right wording in search engines.

I would like to display the name of the program beside the apple icon rather than the text from the titlebar which, depending how I set up OB, takes up the entire bar, overlaps systray icons or I have just a part of the text which looks crap.

I saw some screenshots of customized desktops which showed Object Bar displaying the program names though it is possible whoever posted them just changed the text in Objectbar before taking each shot.

You can have it change names with every program, but it takes the ENTIRE title bar name, as in "Document1 - Microsoft Word" as opposed to "Word". Right-click on properties, go to Menu (the OBar), and check use active app's name or something like that.

he's wondering if its possible for it to just display "Word" instead of "Document 1- Microsoft Word"

i dont think this is posible as of yet.

Set the container so that it has, for instance, a maximum size of 150. That's what I do, then that way it doesn't take up the entire bar.

Yeah that's what I've been doing which is fine with things like My Documents and Control panel or anything else with short titles but doesn't look right with web browsers etc. God, I think all this Macifying everything is turning me into a geek but my desktop is so close to the real thing now I just want it all perfect.

Never mind, OB is still the best program of it's type in my opinion and one of only two programs I have actually thought were worth paying for.
