Mac OS X Screensavers

If you just want the original wallpapers (used in the screensavers) then you can get them here as well:

I didn't make the wallpapers, obviously. But I don't know who to give credit to these great wallpapers. Credit is given to Apple, for now, I guess, until someone can please let me know who created the original wallpapers for Mac OS X. Thanks.

Thanks. I guess you can say that I've been looking all over for a Mac screensaver like the original. So I guess I had to try and make one myself. I'm glad I am able to share it with as many people that I can. This really inspires me to do more work and contribute to the community.

thanks for the screensaver, its really great looking, but i have to agree with x_fusion_x, it just over works my cpu, and if i am away from my computer long enough for a ss to kick on, its usually because i need the thing to cool down not heat up but thanks for the hardwork, it is a great quality, good looking screensaver.

Thanks. I, too, have a cpu problem running these. I tried decreasing the quality and rendering resolution while making these, but, they didn't look as great and professional as these. Maybe I'll have to hunt for a different program to do a 2.0 version of these. But you gotta admit, the Ken Burns effect is worth sacrificing cpu usage just to see his effects in action. Thanks everyone for all the imput.

Yeah Im running a 3.06GHz P4 Notebook with an ATI Radeon 9000 Mobile and 512MB of ram, and it gets pretty worked up. Is there anyway to maybe reduce the amount of power this thing needs causes its a very nice screensaver and I really love the effect that you got, just not the amount of computer essentials that it needs.

They render a bit slow on my computer, but very nice! I can tell that a lot of work definitely went into these.

I am still working on a fix (a 2.0 version). It will take some time, because I am very swamped at the moment. Thanks for the imput.

nice job, but i wouldnt reccomend uploading them to deviantart even if you could sign up, see.. theyre made from osx walls from what i gather, so unless you have prior permission from the original creater you uploading them would be in breach of deviantart policy, as theyre copyright material..
