The Apple Cinema displays have a connector unique to Apple computers. You will need to get a ADC (Apple Display Connector) to VGA connector converter. Some higher end graphics card may have the ADC connector already built into it.
All CRTs and LCDs are compatable with Apple computers.

Ermmm.......the *old* cinema displays have the proprietary ADC connector. All of the *new* aliminum displays are DVI only....

Oh ok so any graphic card will do the job then
exactly the new cinemas will work for pcs. They are so expensive though

and.....certain videocards are not able to show the POST (bios) screen during boot. Head on over to this forum
Apple Displays to search which cards will work or not...
exactly the new cinemas will work for pcs. They are so expensive thoughunreacheable.

I`m eyeing the 20incher with the rumored iMac mini ![]()
not just a dvi, its must have DDC technology too for wide-screen
im using a 20" cinema for my pc just yesterday
The 30" needs dual dvi
