I agree with nightcrawler, the shadowing is VERY heavy I would suggest lightening it up a bit. However, they do look very nice.

ah, yes. I hate it in photoshop when using shadows, because when you have the transparent (checkered) background, the shadow looks a lot lighter, but with a white b/g it looks about two times darker/heavier.

you can make those checkerd boxes a white back ground if you want, but then you dont know whats transparent or not

or, you can just have a white bg that you hide/delete before saving as png

maybe they won't look as dark on a different b/g.

(like on your dock)

White makes shadows look a lot darker than they are remember.
