Aqua-Soft ForumsI just want to say that I have been very disappointed by this forum's decision to discontinue the desktops thread just because of a few off-topic posts. If you cannot even tolerate a few off-topic posts (some of which were not even entirely off-topic) in the desktops thread, then you guys might as well convert Aqua-Soft into a themesrepository. Honestly, I can't see how a desktop customisation forum can survive without a desktops thread. Even many non-desktop customisation forums have these sort of threads. If Aqua-Soft doesn't want desktop threads, I take it as a message that it doesn't want it's members to showcase their desktop customisation efforts, which, in my opinion, ruins the entire forum.

sort of agree. I think this hole thing is stupid.. it's not the end of the world with offtopic post. plz, admins, mods, plz dont take it to seruizly, it's just posts. this is stupid, just plain stupid.....
....and there was me wandering what happened to the january thread.... desktops are like the finished product, there has to be somewhere to show them?
its also not the end of the world that you cant showoff your trendy desktop. i also dont think it was entirely because 'of a few offtopic posts' -- it turned into a penis size match, people trying to show off as much unreleased/unreleasable things as possible. not to mention the people posting 20+ shots a month... it was getting rediculous.
if you leave for a stupid reason like this, then honestly i dont think anyone cares if you're here. goodbye.

AS is not about pretty dtops and scoring points for looks. It`s about Aqua, and Aqua IS about looks, but the biggest part of it is functionality, looks just fall under functionality in its case. Enjoy Luna 
U guys dont get it do u ? Yes, its to bad. People have started like, 50 + threads like
this saying "why was the thread closed?" and "as will die without the dt thread!!"
and they have all gotten closed. So, what do u do ? Go start another one !.
I dont realy cear about the d-top thread (I never post there) but I still think this whole thing is stupid...

Guess what? Moderator/Administration Decisions are final.
You cannot come and complain when they close your little playground when so many members posting there haven't the decency to READING THE RULES before doing so, translating into mods having to delete an average of 6 posts per day due to rules infringement.
When people get THAT and the fact that the ss thread is just to post ss, and not to overcome your sense of inferiority by 1. Posting Photoshoped ss's and 2. trying to sound cool by not releasing anything on your ss; then you will have your precious thread back... in the meantime, you don't deserve one.
If you are leaving because there is no ss thread, well, then buhbye... we'd rather have the ones that are here to emulate aqua, not to post screenshots. Most importantly too, we'd rather have people that care and follow rules.

Are your guy's lives that boring that you have to live to post in a desktop thread? I have never seen so many people so attached to a treand***** thread before.
I was going to give you guys the thread back today, but people started to make their own, and more griping. Just 1 member can ruin it for everyone. You guys have to realize if you don't follow the rules your little goodies will be taken away.
If these desktop threads would stop popping up you guys might get it back, if there is one more of these threads, there won't be one for awhile. That is final, next topic on the desktop thread will be closed, and members will be banned on the spot.
