[help] Icons in XP distorted when using html as background

Long story short, I set up my XP pro box with apache/php so that it would display a web page as my background, then it would refresh every few minutes, and when it does it calls the php script wich shows a random image from a specified folder (D:wallpaper) while the script runs great, the icons on my desktop get a little distorted (more specificallly, it looks like they're on a photoshop dissolve layer style).

I need to know if there's any way to make it so that the icons aren't distorted with I use a .html file as the background in XP.

Here's what it looks like with a regular .jpg as the background

Any help would be appreciated, and if you want the html/php source for what I'm using let me know

There is NO solution. You can search as much as you want, but you won't find anything. This is a "flaw" in Active Desktop, which Microsoft doesn't care about. I've had experience with this type of thing before, and trust me, it annoyed the hell out of me.

However, you can achieve the random image type thing, using several programs out there. Try Google.

Sorry for the bad answer :(.

an answer is an answer man, I appreciate it. The whole reason why I did it like this and not just download another problem is because doesn't take up any more sys resources than what I already use. Thanks
