Startmenu customizing

I tried to search solutions to this, but could not find any...

So how can I make the start menu to look like in this screenshot -> start menu

I mean the "side-panel" where the smaller icons are without any text. How can I get that ?

That's determined by the visual style so you'd have to download a visual style that uses a Compact Menu.

Thanks a lot dreamz ! I got the patch but I have the Reluna type of visual style which is based on the GANT icons etc. and atleast the patcher won't do anything to it

i don't see why the patcher won't work on that. i'm sure all it does is change the margin sizes in the vs.

in any case, you can read the guide posted in the link i gave and do it manually in stylebuilder.

The patcher itself won't change your start menu, it just let's you use a visual style without a third party app.

You either have to edit the VS yourself with StyelBuilder or find a VS that already has the adjustments made.
