Report Message Text... Too Threatening?

Timan... this is a very low priority, so don't bother if you are busy.

When you go to report a post, you get that handy page where you input why you are reporting the post, but the message that goes along with it slightly confuses me. It states that it is to be used for serious items only, such as harassment, threats, etc. However, for minor infractions such as thread bumping, we are told by moderators like Pe8er to use the Report button when the text clearly states not to. Should we simply ignore minor infractions and not use the report button or should we go ahead and use the button? If the latter, should the text be revised to make it more accomodating (say, "This function is to report rules infractions only")?

@Tim: I'm having a problem with PM messages, it seems that I can't track my messages to see whether they've been opened or not, I got an error message saying that I'm not allowed tracking MY message. I don't know if it is meant to be that way or it's a skin's bug (it worked fine with the previous skin)

I've also got a request, it would be nice if we could have some thing saying that we've got PM message i.e pop up window or something similar. It used to pop a message in the past whenever I got a new PM.

Sorry for the offtopic, I don't wanna start a new thread just for my problem. Don't get angry Timmie ;)
