[WIP] aqua aim you say.

Hey guys I've modded my aim (v5.5.3572) pretty much down to nothing. and it goes nice with my brushed vs.

the things I've done:

- changed sign-on picture to my own one

- sign-on completely free of any text except for where you type of course

- menu modification for BL

- no minimize & maximize buttons for BL

- changed highlighted & non highlighted text color in BL

- new away and mobile bitmaps

- no names in the IM box

- no toolbar in IM box

- no menu (at all) in IM box

- plus a bunch of little oes no need to say

There's just one little thing in the away & mobile bitmaps. When you highlight them it shows a white box around it and I can deal with that because I couldn't get it to show the blending of the picture. (circled in red)

please tell me what you think of it.

You should release this! this is the cleanest AIM i have ever seen An aqua version (brushed is evil) would be nice too

EDIT: Oh, and your image is too big, please read the rules. Max 500 x 375. Also, please tag your threads, this is a [WIP] meaning a Work In Progress

I must admit, this looks a whole lot better than the default AIM look...although brushed is EVIL!

I agree that an aqua-version would bw really sweet. I'd definitely recommend it to any AIM users.

I got rid of them because i hate the space that the Screen names take up
