I often wanted to change my icons and have run into fumbles on how-to tips and ways.
There are Many avenues and approaches to this technique, but often I wanted to follow a tutorial, or find a reference guide. There are a lot of helpers on the net, but none that gave the info that I thought was useful in the manner that I thought was the ticket.
So I came up of an original ideal, I decided to post a poster of all the shell32 icons and releasing it as a reference.
Bear in mind that I am on a win xp system and this reference is from my system. I hope that it can help many members here.

I often visit this site daily, (4 times a day) as an out let, and wanted to contribute. I have some ideas and one by one they will be posted.
This thought was inspired by jemaho, who as a member greatly contributilted to my inspiration.
Perhaps some day I may release a style, but as for today I will take it one design at a time.
Please enjoy this as a basic reference point as a starting guide.
