Aqua-Soft ForumsAnyone know where I can still get a copy of Trillian 2? I downloaded T3, but didn't like it very much and I'm looking to go back to 2. It's no longer on their website. Any ideas?

Why would you like to go back to version2? Version 3 has all the features of the version 2 and many more. What's more, you can use all the skin you want, even with trillian basic.
There is no reason to go back to version2 since version 3 offers you all the features of the old version
However, if you really want to get version 2, and that you've got a license for that, maybe you can check on emule, I know they have it on it. If you have a license, then it's legal to do so and it is not considered as warez.
I do indeed have a registration for it. Reasons I don't like Trillian 3... I dunno, Danimator's skin looked better in 2. The fonts in the program look bad, especially in places where, in 2, the text was image-based whereas in 3 they are just text. I dunno, feels weird. I like the avatars on the buddy list like in iChat, except that the status marbles get stuck on top of the pictures. If they avatars could be on the right side, then we'd be in business, but as it stands, meh. Thanks for the suggestion.

You can turn off the avatars, so you will get exactly the same effect than on the buddy list of trillian 2.0. This includes the green orange red buttons on the left handside of the buddy list like in iChat.
And for the fonts, the reasons why the fonts look different than in iChat is because Dan chose different fonts for this release. You can edit your color.xml file in order to have the same fonts as in iChat.
At the end of the file, the "bold fonts are all turned to "0". Bring them all to "1" and you will have bold fonts like in iChat.
All this works for trillian 3.0
