I've downloaded a DMG file on my machine to make my Mac work, but I am unable to convert it to an ISO or another readable format. I've tried to use the DMG2ISO tool available on the internet, but it fails to read my DMG file (ERROR: Property list is corrupted.).
Does anyone know how to convert a DMG to an ISO using Windows or Linux?
My Mac has no OS (this file'll change that) so I need to do it without an Apple (unless you guys who have Macs will help me out 
).

It would appear you are pirating a copy of MacOS.

Man, u have alot to learn. When your saying your converting a DMG to an ISO say its
photos from your grandmas vacation or something.
dont you get recovery cds with ur mac?
or maybe u have an old macos that doesnt support dmg's?
and u can use pearpc (i think u know abt it already) for the dmg
The DMG is for Mac OS 7, which is perfectly legal to distribute for free. I'll try to find an ISO for it. I got my Mac for FREE, so there are no recovery CDs. It had no internet, or CD drive (I got a working one for it). I am trying to jump to either Mandrake 10.1 or YDL 4.0.

So, why do you need a working copy of MacOS 7 for Mandrake or YDL? Get Ubuntu in my opinion (www.ubuntulinux.org), Mandrake is just bloated and YDL is just a weak version of Fedora Core.
Ubuntu is both the latest and gratest and is very minimal in its package selections and very easy to use. On top of that, its based on Debian, one of the best and most stable Linux distro's you'll find, and installing and uninstalling software is a piece of cake.
$ sudo apt-get install Gaim
for example to install Gaim, a cross platform, multi-network IM.
to uninstall,
$ sudo apt-get unistall Gaim
now, if you need to install MacOS to get Linux working on it... that's a different issue.
Yup... I need an OS for my stuff to work. Linux doesn't work; OS X doesn't work. My copy of OS 9 got erased when my OS X install failed. I'm trying to rebuild the machine from scratch. I've purchased 512 MB of RAM and received a working CD drive for free.
I'll try Ubuntu to see if it'll install on an OS-less machine.
