Hello!
1st post here... 
I have made a little mod ( with permission ) of the fantastic winamp-skin called "dashamp" by ~MrMunkily. Now it fits better with white and grey visualstyles. Some guys asked me to share, so here it is...
Hope theres someone at this board who likes it or will even use my mod.

Hehe! Munkily aksed me to do it... I think that's hard work. Perhaps i got the mood and the time to try it in the next few weeks.

yah, i would love to see everything skinned as well. it's a shame to have a beautiful main skin but everything else is crap. it's like you're told to clean your room, but you just shove everything under the bed or closet... (what the hell am i talking about?!)

Hehe! That's exactly what i'm doing. 
I'm giving it some thought...
I've got a week now where I can do a little work on it if I can get abck in the groove.
It's harder to do the playlist and stuff than the main window, so I'm not so eager.

I don't think i'll skin the other parts of the skin. I nearly never use them... Maybe someone else wants to try?!

That's a dumb reason not to skin the other parts of winamp, simply because YOU dont use them. What about other people? They probably use them alot, and that makes them sad, like me.

I know that I myself depend on people like Technici and all of the other generous people on Aqua-Soft until I am able to dabble in my own work.

For those who didn't noticed that before: The original skin ( for winamp ) was made by bobmcbobjunior aka MrMunkily ( @ DA )! I did only two little mods, just because of the reason that they fit better with my current desktops. I didn't make the dashamp-skin work with winamp. I just changed the colors and a little bit it's appearance. I never said that i have invented something totally new. It was just a bit of working with photoshop and dreamweaver. Nothing more. I asked MrMunkily for the permission to release it because some guys asked me share. He has given me the permission and i'm very thankful about this. Many people have downloaded my interpretation of the skin and many people told that they like it a lot. Some asked in a friendly way why the playlist isn't skinned. I explained it to them in a friendly way. So there has been no problem so far. But when i now read a comment like " skin the rest of it you lazy ****" ( written by madcat75 on my da-page - somebody knows who this guy is? ) i think that's not the right way to discuss it. If anybody wants to try to skin the playlist etc. ask bobmcbobjunior aka MrMunkily for permission. He is a friendly guy who will surely give his permission. For now i don't see any necessity to do the rest of the skin. As i said before in this posting: It's just a personal mod and some guys asked to share. If you like it you're free to download it and use it. I'm glad about anyone who likes it! If you don't like ityou are free to say this. I have got no problems with criticism. But if somebody wants to say things like "...lazy ****" - shut up! :cool:
