Aqua Highlights of the Year

As you all know (or should know), my job as newsposter is to inform you all about the "Aqua Highlights of the Week."

I was thinking about making a special newspost (which may or may not happen) that lists EVERYTHING (important) that has happened at Aqua-Soft over the past year. So, post your ideas in this thread!

Please subdivide it into the following categories

Themes

Icons

Walls (Probably not going to exist...I don't think there were really any ground-breaking wall releases.)

Packs

Other

(And anything else you can think of).

So, let's hear your ideas!

I think that in general, the quality of ports, styles, icons and everything has been fantastic in 2004. It has increased our expections when new styles come out, and that's great.

I remember I was so excited when AA was ported.

the Safari Firefox skin was awesome, big aqua highlight...

and so were the other themes for firefox (mostly created by hills)...

I second the motion for Konfabulator for Windows.

It seems lots of people use these Pandion mods around here. I don't personally, but it may be something you want to include for those looking for that "Adium" look.

in that case you missed the point of Aqua GUI. It`s not about iCandy, it`s about functionality.

That was one of the examples where Apple put functionality over form (even though form itself was super-sexxi )

when i get a Mac it will be cause of the Unix base and PPC architecture, not just the GUI

Where is the Safari Firefox skin you're referring to? I've searched for the past two days on the forums and don't find a ready made skin, but either links to SafariFox or instructions on how to manually make it look like Safari, all of which messed up my Firefox to the point of having to uninstall, remove all instances from the registry, and reinstall to get it back to normal. I'm using Firefox 1.0, so the SafariFox mods and extensions don't work for me. Anyway, wasn't trying to use this thread to rant on about this not working for me and take away the thunder from everyone's good work.

Btw, I only mentioned FlyakiteSP2 because it's the one thing I've been using this week and I thought it was a week thing, not a month think. If that's the case, there are too many people to give credit too without hurting anyone else's feelings. So good job to everyone!!

Doh!! I didn't even read the title. I just read the post. This is for the year, not the week. *LOL* Darn searching for fixes had me scanning past the title. Sorry, just another ****ie mistake.

3. I can`t imagine what you did during SafariFox mod that required such drastic steps. TBE included is not 1.0 Final compatible but i doubt it would do that much damage. It wouldn`t even install in the extensions manager :/
