Apple Mini Stores

I am currently at the brand new (grand opening today) Apple Mini Store in St. Louis, Missouri. It is located in the Galleria.

I was welcomed by the staff here, after a 5-10 minute wait outside the store, in a line. The first 500 people get a tshirt, I already snagged mine. I was pretty excited to see the whole store in person. I've been to the normal Apple Store in West County Mall, but this store is great, not to mention closer to me. The Genius Bar is located in the back of the store, with software on the right back and accessories on the left back. On the right side of the store are all the computers, iMacs, PowerBooks, and iBooks. Strange as it may seem, they do not have a PowerMac G5 on display in the store. On the left side are the iPods, all flavors. iPod, iPod photo (which in person, if you see it, is noticably larger and feels much heavier than the iPod), iPod mini, and the U2 iPod. They also have the different array of iPod speakers with the iPods. The store's design is more amazing than I actually thought. Where are the cash registers you might ask? They are in between the computers and the software (on the right) and between the iPods and the accessories (on the left). They are built into the wall, with the keyboard, mouse and a scanner that slide out. Pay with a credit card? Simply slide it into a small slit in the wall. Pretty darn cool.

All and all, I am very impressed with the new Apple Mini Stores. Pretty happy to be here and get my free tshirt!

there are no PMs in the mini stores

Power line is for full sized stores (well cpet the PBs, which are compact) and mini stores hold the "consumer" line of products.

Anyways grim, i didn`t make that list, Wiz made it in the times past when t3H Sp3h was a cool newsposter n3wbie, princess MYUU.EXE, gillbates and amnesia were still here and contra was the scarriest dude around.

Unfortunally Contra & Timmeh killed the okoot (contra banned MYUU, after which she left. i still hate him cause of that :mad: )

Holy Crap!!! Typing this from a Mac @ the Apple store in SoHo NY, it's amazing...I'm going to die if I don't get a Mac soon! I know this is a bit OT but its soooooo cool, I'm extremely envious...anyways someone's waiting to use this.

wait? is one of those macs an imac g4? cool expreince. do they allow upgrades and program selling? that would be convenient for me then. if i had an ibook.............
