Didn't see THIS coming...

Well, kids...looks like TRD.net is going off the air.

It seems one of you decided to talk to my webhost and lie to them saying I was violating ToS.

Not very nice...

I have 24 hours to find another host, but since it is the holiday--i have no money to pay for it.

TRD.net will go offline at midnight tonight iof I can't get the money to buy a new host.

I am not asking, begging, or pleading...only informing you that TRD.net might be no more.

If you like my site, do what you can. I could use a free host or something REAL cheap.

I own the domain (therealduckie.net) so I don't need a geo****ties or similar account...what I need is an actual host for my files.

Anyway, sorry for the bad news.

I would appreciate it if you wouldn't post 'how sorry' you are or how you're 'too young to do anything' or whatever...what I need isn't pity or 'Dude, that sucks."

I just need solutions.

So, let's hash this out...

I'd hate to loose all those files we've all taken so long to get together.

My current host allowed me 1 gig of disk space with 10 gb per month transfer and unlimited email, ftp, sql's, and sub-domains.

Try www.illusionfxnet.com . They have a good free hosting plan, with 400MB of space and 10GB transfer. 5 e-mails, 5 MySQL, FTP, and I don't know about subdomains, but they do allow you to use your own domain with the free plan. The only catch is that you have to apply for the hosting, and you may be denied. You do have to give a description of what your site will/does contain or do.

sorry to hear the bad news duckie, but maybe it's not one of us? Personally, I'd suspect a vigilante OS X fan/user (you know the ones who hate the whole Aqua imitation movement).

or you can use a free ftp server and dns client to make your own server. that's what i do. internet, friggan slow, but the only thing i have to pay for is the all night long and all day long non-stop broadband service. it's worth it for some homework and school projects. also, vnc is cool to use with dns clients. i use serrv u, and no-ip service and i just do my homewrok anywhere, anytime. i don't recommend that to huge file transfers and people like you who do so much more on their computers. gosh it's going to be irritating
