Aqua-Soft ForumsHow on earth do you add / remove songs on the ipod with iTunes?
Just got mine this morning, love it, but it seems all I can do it make it sync with my current library :/
iPod troubles...
the only way i know to add songs is to move all the songs i dont want out of my library folder, then sync the ipod with the library and it will take those songs out. to add songs just put them in the library and they should sync with the ipod 
i hope to god that made sense tim
What if you have no harddrive space on your say mac to even keep those songs in your library >_
AHHHHH HA!, TIM I WAS JUST THINKING.... uncheck those songs, see the checks on the left of the song name. uncheck the ones u dont want added and they wont be put on. if u want to add songs simpily just add them in the library

Go to iTunes preferences, check 'iPod' tab. You can sync all library, selected playlists, or choose to manually put music on your new 20GB baby. If you select to sync whole library and 'only update checked songs', you can hold 'ctrl' (afair it's 'command' on mac) to check/uncheck all currently viewed songs.
this iPod thing sucks. Need something else to waste money on.

I tried a iPod over this summer, was disspointed after 5 mins, but since all this hacking is coming about, might lead to some interesting things you can do with these iPods...besides kicking vampire ass
I think that's the point of the iPod...to have all your songsi n your library

Then I suggest you download winamp and also the iPod Support Plug-in from the site.
for me iTunes sucks big time. Wastage of too much resource.

ok another question, I just recieved my dock today, and is there a way to turn it off when its sitting in there?
It says charged but the screen won't turn off >_<
err..why do you want it off? it's always charging...
Because I bought the dock for it to sit in when I'm not using it. lol
You have to unplug the dock from the power source, then you can turn off the ipod when its sitting there - I'm pretty sure you can't turn it off when it is plugged in.
