donwnload and use tweak ui from microsoft... I do believe there was also a stand alone app "places bar editor" made by somebody.

Start > Run > regedit

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciescomdlg32PlacesBar

You'll see this: Place1

Place2 etc.

Change the values (or delete) as you like. Careful with the registry.
