[question] Avant Browser or Maxthon?

Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out a good IE-alternative browser to use in its place. I usually use FireFox and Opera as an exception, and only rarely use Internet Explorer. I do value it though because I do web design on my computer and (obviously), having IE around (or an IE based browser) is somewhat handy

my question is this: I've been seeing a lot of these IE-alternative browser, namely Avant and Maxthon (formerly My-IE) and I was wondering which you thought was better? I really am clueless on this one, so I'd figure I"d ask the masses. It's never hurt me before

dunno why, but i preferred maxthon. i use the lighter version. now i use firefox.

I use IE Tab for Firefox because it works well for viewing how single pages work in IE with litte effort. However, if you want to use an actual alternative, I suggest Maxthon.

I prefer(ed) AvantBrowser. It's very close to Opera (was called IE-Opera in the past) so that would be my choise
