I'm looking for a long time for a MacOSX emulation for a pc that would be simple to install and will work without many problems... I tried to have a look at pearPC and it seems so hard to install. I dont care if it's for Windows or for Linux, I have both..

from what I know, apart from pearPC, there is no MacOSX emulation for x86 based computers out there

Just to be anal: You're talking about PowerPC emulators, NOT Mac OS X emulators. Please use correct terminology.

PowerPC (PPC)=CPU inside modern Mac pc's
PPC emulators are the formentioned PearPC which can emulate OS X
(S L O W) and Sheepshaver which runs PPC up to os 9 and is finally available for Windows.

PearPC is the only PPC Emulator able to currently boot OS X on x86 hardware.
SheepShaver only runs up to OS 9.
MacOnLinux can run OS X, but is not available for x86.
(if you can run Windows natively you've got x86)
well, you can use basilisk as well. but it only supports up to 9.0

Funny, I thought the 68040 motorola's only supported Mac up to OS 8.1,
but I could be mistaking.
Basilisk was obsoleted by Basilisk IIwell, you can use basilisk as well. but it only supports up to 9.0
According to the Basilisk II Website,
it can only emulate a Mac Classic (OS 0.x - 7.5) or a Mac II (OS 7.x - 8.1)
both of with are 68k Mac series.
Sheepshaver emulates PPC Macs and while based on some of the code from Basilisk II, and can run OS 7.5.2 - 8.1 with an OldWorld Rom and 8.5 - 9.0.4 with a NewWorld Rom.
