[release] Spot widget

Well kids... here you go...

It's not quite finished... a couple of small bugs...

1. The "Top Hit" text disappears after the first search...

2. The shadow needs a little tweaking...

Todo:

Option to choose narrow vs. wide shadow.. or no shadow at all I suppose... what do you think?

To install, just download the zip and rename it to spot.widget

Oh... Can't forget to thank Pe8er and Dream_Team for there help with the shadows... Don't worry... I'll credit you in the "About" window in my next release :) :)

Wow! Thats cool !

It's a great widget :) Put it in widgetgallery once you fix all bugs.

And tell me what's wrong with the shadows

#235782

lol if this continue with those small shadows we will have 1px shadows lol.

@Pe8er there is a small part of the shadow what overlap the searchbar so it's darker than normal

wow its great! lol its great because i just logged on right now to download the one for avedesk and i saw this! its awesome :D

where does it search from? google?

my only suggestion is, is there a way to make the search open up in a NEW window and not an existing window? thats the thing i hate most about search widgets. i like to keep everything open. thanks! :D

very good but if i set Topmost after disappear under the taskbar :(

I have the same problem megabit does. I can make it stay on top of ObjectBar/Taskbar until I click on the bar itself (or anything in the systray) at which point it goes underneath. The only way to bring it back up is to use Konspose. Any ideas? Very nice widget nonetheless, jef.

I haven't tried it with ObjectBar... I have my taskbar on the top of my screen and "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" is NOT checked. The widget is set to "Topmost".

That's the only way I know of to keep it on top...
