[help] list of places

yes, unbeliever, i searched. this is the only one i found. i know there's a bigger list here somewhere, but i can't find it. would someone please be so kind as to point me to it? or, in unbe's case, scream and have a fit, but point me to it?

This is a GUID for My Computer - spelled gooeyd - short for "Globally Unique IDentifier".

You'll find lots of them in the registry, if you want to have the complete set, open Regedit at

 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  SOFTWARE
   Microsoft
	Windows
 	CurrentVersion
 	 Shell Extensions
 	  Approved

This will list them amongst other things. If you want a name in your explorers namespace, just scan Regedit for exact the same name you see and it'll find it like in

 HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
  CLSID
   {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

take this GUID and attach the :: in front of it.

There can't be a complete list since there are a lot of installable namespace extensions around.

Maybe someone could also post the shell shortcuts? Those would be useful...I don't remember all of them though.

Anyone know of a website that lists them? Two minutes on Google couldn't find me anything, interestingly enough .
