If anyone else has some kind of drive they want done, just say so here.

I'm working on a network drive at the moment.

edit: Anyone have ideas on how make a good network drive? Without a globe or the dopey pipes like the Windows version?

I'll draw the globe if I have to, but an easier alternative would be nice.

Cables... definitely a possibility. Good idea. I'm assuming you're thinking of a small cable with a plug on the end? If so, I'll try out a few sketches.

I'm going to have the globe on top anyway. I want to try a nice floating orb with a reflection on top of the drive.

aw common. use your own style like in your icons! man! i would suggest using aqua style and not using panther icon parts. so..... try scetching a picture of a drive with the letter n in aqua colors. LOL. that would be cool.

What are you talking about? I've never seen other types of icons similar to these, which are great by the way.

There's no need to be blasting such a devoted community member as sketching. Especially you, considering you described them earlier as:

sweet and useful icons!

Post a request in the icon forums if you want something like you described. Better yet, why don't you make them yourself?

Even if that's not it, no matter. I've got the network icon done and am moving onto a folder idea.

I have no idea what you mean by the drive letter comment. I can't quite make sense of it. If your asking for drive letters printed onto the drives similar to the glyphs already present, I'll have to pass. I'll probably have to do the entire alphabet just to be safe.

i just meant "don't be tempted to copy apple" because i like the style

AND i'm using his icons right now on the computer that i'm surfing with.

his icons are very good. but i do warn that it kinda voids originality if it's too close to apple's original icons which his icons have nothing to do with them.
