[Help] Strange system font issue with FlyAKite

Hi,

I installed Fly A Kite, made some other minor tweaks to fonts (enabled ClearType, switched to Lucida Grande font size in Display settings, some other things, so many I don't remember all of them now actually... I think most of my tweaks were actually trying to get SafariFox working, which I eventually gave up on). In any case, everything looks wonderful, except for one minor problem. In IE and FireFox, some webpages look messed-up, and in Dreamweaver, my toolbars are totally garbled. I think the cause is a change to the system font Windows uses (which is normal MS Sans Serif, right?). Unfortunately, I do not know how to change only the font (I'd hate to remove the entire FlyAKite package, it looks so nice on my system!

In any case, I'm including screenshots. One is of the eBay page in IE... I tried this in IE on another computer, and it looked perfectly normal (the body of the page is centered, and the search toolbar doesn't extend off the side of the window). The other image is of my messed up Dreamweaver Properties panel. Thanks to anyone with any advice on the cause, or how to fix.

This is why you should first contact the developer of a product before creating a thread about a problem that has been discussed about a MILLION times. Read this:

Before you even ask.... YES you can run the uninstaller from add/remove programs and choose just to uninstall that one tweak. You will need to restart afterwards.

Oops, sorry for the stupid question. Thanks. I'd read the faq page on your site before, but I was thinking that I'd notice problems in all my system dialogs, not just Dreamweaver, so it didn't quite sound like the issue I was having. I'd read the first couple and last couple pages of the thread on this forum regarding your last release, and noticed one guy with a similar problem, who'd fixed it removing a component, but didn't mention *which* component he removed... Ah well, I guess I should have re-read the stuff on your site after that.

In any case, thanks for pointing me in the right direction... it fixed the problems completely.
