[Release] Lutetium For WB
Semi-unrelated, but what are the font settings you are using for your icons on your desktop? I'm assuming its AveDesk, but what are the EXACT font/shadow/margin/size settings you are using, because I haven't seen icons with text that looks that close to a Mac before.
you did it again, thanks for your themes, because i can use WB wich really improve performance in my actual machine.
Lovely port but BZ why are your fonts always so large and how can I change them in WB's?
Case in point - Look at the font on the Desktop Properties tabs - the font is so large you can only see a couple of letters. Am I missing something?
blah blah blah... I am really tired of answering these font related questions. Every time people complain, The fonts are the way they are. I like em that way. Get a copy of skin studio and change em yourself. It isnt hard to do. Skin studio is a free download. You will then need to open the skins and look for the various font related items and change them to what you want. As for the display properties skin.... That is the only one in which the fonts do not show the whole word. I have never found out why this happens but I dont really care about it. Every other tab related item shows just fine.

People... you can also change your font inside of the Display Properties screen. Is it really that hard?

Im not sure what you mean... if you are refering to the stretchingtile problem it is a problem with wb 4.4 it seems. The settings are correct in skin studio. Dont know why it bugs sometimes and doesnt other times.
that's that , i looked in skinstudio and it's ok ,i have wb 4.3 (wb4.4 don't work on my computer , one time it's not skinned at all , one time perapp settings only are skinned and sometimes it don't lunch) and the finder thing only work if i load wb when explorer is lunched

Fair enough but for me and many other users being able to read the display properties tabs is both aesthetically and functionally important. Why do 100's of other WB themes get it right? With respect and being the gun artist that you are is it a stretch to find out why it happens on your Display Properties. Asking a fellow WB's skinner how they solve the issue might be wise?
Don't take offense - any good artist should be able to take constructive critizism and your work is overall fantastic. It's just spoiled by over large fonts (Yes you did indicate how to fix this so it's all good).

Look, I can fix the tab problem by CHANGING THE FONT
It isnt that I dont know how to. And no 100's of other wb skins dont get it right. I choose these fonts becuase they are about as close as I can get to how I want it to look... Mac like. Sure, I could switch to tahoma or even a smaller lucida grande, but trust me it would not look nearly as good. I have tried. I have spent hours changing fonts and modding things to get them how they are now. The nice thing about wb is that it is quite easy even just using notepad to change the fonts.
So I do take the criticism, I have no problems with it. The problem comes when I answer the question (as I have so many times) and it keeps coming up again. It isnt something that I wish to fix because I really like the way the skins look. Since it is a very isolated problem, changing the fonts would change how many other parts of the skin look. So yeah...
I am currently writing a little read meish item that will be pinned here in the wb forum for people to read regarding these often hit on topics so taht I do not have to constantly answer them.
Anyhow, thanks for your input It always helps to make a better skin.
There should be an tutorial for change the tab fonts .
I think the tab fonts are good as they are actually
where the **** are the wallpapers for this that are released with the mac version, and I don't me the Abstract walls? Any help. Seriously I hate it when ppl leave us "windoze" users in the dust

actually no they arent available there yet... the only place you can find them is in the mac osx gui kit... I just didnt get my hands on them to put them in the windows kit... ill get them soon.
