Yeah it does, it is about half what it was... though the CPU usage of the core exe has gone up slightly as it cleans up its process' constantly.

PS It`s suprising to see that they don`t show any gratitude to help people give them. Ave helped them with "stick to desktop" option in 1.8.1, and even gave them some code snippets and he isn`t credited at all for it. I don`t want anything other than a lil' "Thank you" note since i believe Ave deserves it. (PS If u ask me, Ave is a crazy, too-good-to-be-true dude, who goes around helping pple. I mean who the hell is that kind? )

i gotta agree with less-cpu/than-mem. I prefer an app using more mem and *no* cpu.

installed 1.8.1 but didnt check the cpu meter.

The thing is that Konfab went from 12,000K per widget plus a base of 6,000K to 4,000K per widget and 1,000K for the base. The CPU isn't that much more... maybe one or two percent more.

I actually did thank my parents to teach me howto walk and talk actually...

But anyway, good to see that stick to desktop works. But I if I had all the same widgets I do in avedesk, on konfab, it'd still take millions of ram. Avedesk stays under 5 for me, with 9 widgets on desktop.

Most of em are konfab ports though
