[poll] What icon resolution do you have?

Well I'm currently using 96x96 icons in Windows. It's a good thing I'm running @ 1600x1200 or the icons would be way to big to view. Another reason why I haven't gone all the way to 128x128 is that the left-view pane in save dialogs gets crammed and the 128x128 icons don't fit in there. The 96x96 icons barely fit in there.

So I'd like to hear what all you other guys are using for your desktop

I selected 96*96 because it's a good even size that doesn't stretch the Start menu icons too much. However, I like 128*128 because it's a good one-size fits all type thing.

It doesn't bug you that the left side panel that shows up sometimes with "Desktop", "Network places" gets a little bit crammed cuz the icons are too big for it... ?

Actually, what I do is use eliminate everything on the right side, and make the left side small icons. I hardly use the start menu anyway.

I use 52x52 simply because if I have a bigger icon I can't see as much in Finder, especially on a 1024x768 resolution. Plus when my icons are at 48x48 they start to get choppy so I keep it at 52x52. I usually keep my desktop icons 96x96+ unless I really have a lot on my desktop.

that 88 x88 is on the desktop - good balance between eye candy and usability when i have more than 10 icons on the desktop.

For finder its usually 32 x 32.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough... I meant in the Save dialogs.. sometimes in the save dialogs you have a left-sided panel with Icons like "Your recent documents" "My documents" "Desktop" and so on.. that was what I was referring to... don't you think those icons get too big and crammed when they're in 96x96? It does for me a little bit.. I've tried to get rid of that panel with tuneup utilities but it wouldn't work....
