[HELP] Converting Konfabulator Widgets

I was just browsing through the forums on the Konfab site and couldn't quite understand one part of the process in which you must follow to convert SOME of the Mac intended widgets to Windows widgets. I realize it is not possible to convert each and every Mac widget to a Windows widget but according some of the guys at Konfabulator......there are certain widgets that convert perfectly by changing the extension name or something like that. I appreciate any help offered..........

I made a sticky in this subforum. Check it out, see how does the widget's structure look, think for a while and you should be able to do it by yourself

NB some widgets need to be deeply edited, they might contain Apple Script which doesn't work in Windows.

I actually was just thinkin' about it for a few minutes and thought that maybe this I was asking too ridiculous of a question to be expecting an answer to but I guess I have been proven wrong....Thanks again!

Ummmmmmmmmm no Mesh I haven't been able to successfully convert any of the Mac intended widgets to Windows. I appreciate you checking with me to see if I have had any success though yet.

And if someone has converted the SubtleTunes.widget, I would really like to have that one. There is a thread over at Konfab where somebody claimed that he has done it weeks ago - ha. Nothing that he has supposedly converted has been released yet.

SubtleTunes widget was converted by myself and bz for AveTunes. Check the forums for it.

depending on what functions the widgets are calling for.

they are not all that difficult to port.

the iTunes specific ones are for the most part the easiest.

i've ported a few for my own personal use.
