[Help] Lowercase AM/PM in Sysstats Time Meter

Is there a way to make the %p format specifier display AM/PM in lowercase ("am/pm")?

I thought perhaps it used the format specified in the regional setting that you can set via control panel - but it doesn't.

Which begs the question: should it?
