[Help] CSS Displays wrongly on IE - Desperate

Hello Aqua-Softians!

If you remember a thread i had done a while ago about my website, well, i have actually started coding it, porting it to CSS.

After some hours of work and some help from Stevie BM, Web guru, i have managed to have the site look like this: www.seph.ws/newseph/

It all looks nice and neat in firefox, camino and safari.... but... my main target audience will use IE and... please, feel free to see how it looks like in IE.

THe Style sheet is www.seph.ws/newseph/style.css

The Index page is www.seph.ws/newseph/index.htm

Please help this CSS n3ub get his site looking rigth on IE

In my defense, I was just working with what I was given...

I'll put together a better marked-up version of this and fix the IE bugs later tonight, so stop your whinging, sp3h.

Yes, I was a busy little bee last night and got rid of some major layout problems with my css.

The two still show some inconsistencies in terms of the positioning of the menu, but for the time being, i am giving IE the priority to display the menu where i want it to be.

If anyone has any suggestions on a better way than the one im using, please do tell

I dont know if you guys have noticed, but now, the "home" menu button is showing covered a bit by the button below it. Its only happening in IE and to that button.

The strange thing is that each button has its own div of 24 pixels with the bg image that gives the button bg and inside each of those div's i have the menu item text. There is no difference between the properties of the home menu item and the rest :S

Any clues?

I am not a web guru like Stevie is, but I've noticed this with tons of other sites using IE, it seems that CSS isn't rendered correctly in it, though other alternative browsers such as Firefox, so it may not be a problem with your code at all, just IE's fault. Someone with technical details please elaborate

No, it is true Moo... IE is crap at displaying CSS, the problem is i still need it to look tip top on it as 99% of my target audience will be using IE and i cant tell them to download Firefox, not everyone would try different browsers.
