New Members - an alternative?

Ok we've all been around long enough to see that same question being asked over and over, as well as the standard "STFF", "tag your threads" etc etc replys. Its no-ones fault - but its the way it goes, what I'm suggesting is that the Mods introduce a new member area where they can build up their Aqua-Soft awareness, learn the ropes and the only way they can find stuff is by searching.

I know I'll get my butt kicked for being a **** lover - but I've seen some very un-sociable posts by members lately - and if I was a **** I would not return.

This is a good idea, but it's kind of a catch-22...the very definition of a ****ie is one who wouldn't be able to find this forum section. We (the older members at A-S) would still be required to point them in the right direction, still leaving us with the problem of developing Carpal-Tunnel after a short time .

I think we should try to get advertisements at customization sites, maybe bringing new members to the community will actually help it instead of scaring them all off when they misspell a word or forget to tag a thread...
