hi guys.
Ive been looking all day for a registry hack to remove the
file/edit/view etc. menu bar from windows explorer and I
cannot find a working one. The only one I found that
actually removed them also disabled startmenu subfolders
so thats no good. Most of the reghacks just didnt do
anything at all. Please help me someone, Im pulling my
hair out in rage :mad:

AFAIK good reshack for this doesn't exist. Try to reshack browselc.dll, that's what real proffessionals do 
I've got one, and in fact sent it to someone awhile ago but I don't remember who. Problem is I won't be on my main PC until Sunday evening so I wouldn't be able to send it to you for another day and a half.
Someone else here I'm sure has them as well though hopefully. If not I'll send them to you as soon as I get home.
Here I've also uploaded the file as well with the restore file, and it does NOT disable start menu subfolders:

fixed my problem, and id be happy to walk any body else through how to fix it.oh god, i used the hack given by "Flyakite" and it worked, then i used the restore file, and i cant get my menu's back. i realy need my menu's back! this affected explorer and internet explorer. this is bad, i need a fix that works.

ok i have the hidemenubar.zip, which files do what...which reg files get rid of the file edit view... in windows explorer? 3, 4, or 5...or is it a combination of 2?
i been looking and trying to download this from a different Forum site like a week now but everytime i open the file that i have downloaded i always got an error message that file is corrupted... and now i got it working finally.... thanks a lot Sid!!! you b!tch
