Sewers - it's a form of web spreadin' under the cities (Underground Web - sounds indy ), so the sewer rat can be it's symbol...
Forget about the sewers, and other bigbadwolf-sewerrat-whatever similarities. Aspirino made great icons, and nothin' else counts... AMEN!

I'm real happy,That's the first time I get more than 6 comments about one of my works here.
This makes me think people prefer loose their time to criticize than to make praizes.
When i did that icon i knew it wasnt a fox picture, and i never pretended to draw a real fox. But do you really think MIckey mouse looks like a mouse?
Human have imagination, but as i can see, doesnt use it frequently

Maybe my english isnt very good or I didn't understand quite well some of the comments about my Firewolf icon.
But i think that to loose time making comments like " it is horrible", " it looks like a sewer rat" "this icon scares me" isnt very encouragous.
When i do not like something i simply do not use it. When i do not like something and i think i can help with suggestions to make it better , i make my suggestion but i never forget to be polite.
" this is horrible " IMO isnt a polite way to express you do not like something.
and what is more strange is that people prefer to make comments to criticise than to make praises. I never, never got 17 comments before. Strange , real strange.

The majority of people who posted said they liked it! I don't know why you care if they say it's scary, that could mean it's good for halloween themed desktops or something. The other people just need to not say anything at all if its mean or hateful.
I like your icons because they actually have your own style instead of looking pretty much the same as most others do.
Don't worry about bad comment, people on the internet tend to be rude because they are anonymous.
