hello all,
i am going to purchase a new harddrive this weekend (specifically this one: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc....-137-132&DEPA=0), and i was wondering if you guys have had any experiance with this harddrive, or if you can recomend something better for a comparable price. thanks in advance.

I am a fan of Maxtor hard drives. Have bought 2 of them and extremely satisfied with them.
Well, I dunno about that one but I got a western digital 120 GB 7200 RPM at
officemax for 59 $ after rebates and Im verry happy with it. 
It's a good deal. I use Maxtor's and have never had a problem with them at all.
well thanks guys...i guess im going to go with that one.
for me, seagate barracuda series are quite decent too. i use it becasue it has a slightly lower sound. i use it to mimic yoshi's silent computer mod from thescreensavers.com .maxtor harddrives and seagate harddrives are good harddrives to use. no issues with them yet.
