Aero-Soft is a good place. Ive only banned two people there, both for being extremely negative and not contributing to the site. But to be honest, I dont have the skills to maintain it, and with Tim in school, Lou MIA and the newsposters gone the site doesnt serve much purpose other than for me to pay for people to post aqua-esque screenshots. In other words, its not going according to plan, alot of people that were going to help bailed, and the only thing left for it right now is to sour like so many other sites have.
So until I can either a.) get some graphics support and some new newsposters or b.) hear of a better plan for it, Im taking it down before it turns south. Not what I want to do.
Im all for Aero-Soft. I think its a great site. But I wont watch it rot like the many sites that have come before it. If you want to volunteer, drop me a line.
Aero-Soft isnt dead, its just in transition. It's killing me to let it sit there and not go anywhere.
BTW, the site is still there, its just a directory away. A quick copy/ paste will put it online in about 2 seconds. 
Aw what a bummer. I found it a much more objective website than some I visit and I enjoyed reading the posts there as there was alot of cool non-aqua stuff. 'Not that there's anything wrong with that...'

Im not concerned about the logo right now. TSS has a history of ripping. If we could get the skin finished for the site, they'd look pretty gimp with just a logo by comparison.

Ack don't blame timmy this time, it was DZ! don't ask me how he did it because I have no idea. Basically all we need is someone to skin vb thats my main concern I think after that things will take off, same thing for aquasoft, we have the skin in a psd and all that, but skinning vb takes way too much time, and i know stevie's got a skin but we all know we'll never see it at this rate (stevie vacationing in germany 
)
So if you want my thoughts on all this, the skin we have at both sites right now are usable, may be ugly as hell but usable, i could care less how the site looks, aslong as we're still getting quality visitors and members I don't mind.

Also, I wasn't vacationing in Germany - I was there on business for the start of a major project, and, for some reason, the firewalls in the German offices block pretty much anything of any use. Not to mention a distinct lack of Photoshop CS on my work laptop...

Yes, a thread was closed down for being negative towards AquaXP. AquaXP and Aero-Soft are both affiliates with Aqua-SOft. The difference in the two threads is that the closed thread was dissing some of the members at AquaXP, while this one is inquiring as to why the site was down.
If AquaXP went down for any reason, its members would be more than welcome to use Aqua-Softs boards to figure out what was going on and to even coordinate a solution if need be. If someone wants to talk bad about any of Aqua-Softs affiliates they will be moderated.
