ATTENTION all Iconists, Your Icons Are Being Sold

This has been going on for quite some time within gfxOasis, but this is the first time it has been made public.

gfxOasis reports that an Iranian company called Partaksoft is illegally selling the copyrighted work of several iconists on their web site, without the approval or acknowledgement of the original iconists.

Please take a look at their company web site and see if your work has been illegally posted. If it is, please do not hesitate to contact gfxOasis via this e-mail address: iconrips@gfxoasis.com.

1. Dont derail the thread into opinions about another site's works, a legit site may i add.

2. You try and do such icons and tell us about what you think would be a good price

3. These icons are usually sold to software companies that need GUI icons for it, they will be making profit out of every sale of their software, these guy will make 1 profit.

Wow... I didn't see a single icon that wasn't ripped. It's like they went to http://interfacelift.com/icons-win/ and took every single work they could get their hands on!

They could have been smart enough to at least remove the "Rokey" symbol from some of his icons.

It doesn't look very good in Firefox either, but that's OT. I would like to (or at least figure out how to) contact Download.com about this. They need to remove the download, but even after the reviews the product (and I use that term loosely) is still there. Does anybody here know how to put a message through to Download.com effectively?
