strange. when i put my name in, i got gunwalls johnny. when i put my dad's name i got captian buckthorn. strange eh? when i put my brother's name i got jolly swordfish ,and i put my name in the female's section and i got gunwalls erin.

Looks like yor dad and Monchy share the same name or maybe the generator is not good quality.:confused:

That happens with me too.It does not have anything to do with matching names, only letters matter. Change a single letter of your name and you have an entirely new name. :slant:

I couldn't say for definite, but I'd hazard a guess that they acheive the effect by taking some kind of hash of the input name, and then use that to select a value from a predefined list, in much the same way as the "what [star sign/villain/pirate/cheese/A-S member] am I?" survey things work...
