Hi i was wondering if anyone was interested in buying a computer from me (i'm not sure if i'd sell it but i'd like to have an idea if there's any interest)

darnit i can't make use of the programs because i have them already so i can't take advantage of them. maybe you can make it a bit cheaper with fewer software would be nice

maybe you should use ebay or amazon. it's very inconvenient to use a forum to sell.

I think its way overpriced for what you have. And technically, YES your software is illegal... "got it pretty much for free", I would interpret that you do not own a valid licience yourself?

On a similar note I might be willing to sell my PC if I find a good home for it. I was thinking about 1600 Canadian dollars (approx. 1300 USD)

yes i agree too. but i won't accuse you of being crazy though.

second hand stuff should be at most 2/3 of the original price, and should go down to 1/3 when it gets older. also, do not sell computers with programs because it's not fair for the buyer to buy a computer more expensive than the imac g5.

Sid's computer sounds like a good deal, with that AMD +2500 you can overclock it to a +3200 with a good CPU cooler and some Artic Silver thermal paste ^^. Good deal cause a AMD +3200 costs around $200-$230.

As I said my system comes with a Thermaltake 7 Copper Cooler with a 6000 rpm 80mm fan on it. I do not overclock my system but I'm sure you'll get some good results with it. The board K7N2 Delta is known for handling overclocking well.

i got amost the same setup as Sid, for hsf i have got a volcano 11+ with fan controller, antec case with window (comes with 2 fans + will include 2 stealth fans) and sound controlled cold cathode etc, oh and a 9500 pro

wanted to sell it for around 1000~ without monitor
