My Computer, Network Places in Avedesk?

Is it possible to have these desklets? I've tried everything I could think of.

Thanks a lot :)

it is

link the shortcut desklet to "explorer.exe" (without quotes) and put this in parameter field:

for My Computer: "::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}" (without quotes)

for Netwrok places: ::{208D2C60-3AEA-1069-A2D7-08002B30309D}" (without quotes)

And also USE THE F R E A K I N G SEARCH next time!

This was answered ZILLION times.

Hmm... I did... I just SUCK at searching the right things, just ask MntnBkr1065 :)

Is there a way to get it to show the My Computer options when I right click it though? I just want to be able to access the My Computer Properties.

Oh little extra question that I also couldn't find my searching: is there a way to hide/unhide the normal desktop icons rather quickly?

that is not possible with the current version of AveDesk and Shorcut desklet.

It is, however, with AveDesk 1.2 and a new desklet.

Donate to Ave and you will get a beta and will be able to do it.

Link is in my signature.

Also don`t get me wrong about search but i`m sick of people asking questions that are so common and have been answered million times before.

Right Click on Destop>Arrange Icons By>Show Desktop Icons

I'm having an issue with the My Computer desklet. Everytime i reboot my computer the my computer icon resets the label back to the target string. So instead of saying My Computer on the desklet it says ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D

Anyone know why this is happening?

@vandit: try checking to make sure the label isn't autochanging it's title (that's under the "label format" tab in the desklet properties).

@pooky: there is a tool for avedesk that will autohide the desktop icons for you when you run avedesk.
