Aqua-Soft ForumsMorphing Desktop Project.
There is an application called 3DANIMATED DESKTOP.
It uses ...exe files as animations, and
also support the screensaver background effect.
When I used the nostalgic as a ss backround
the cpu usage were 50-100%.
BUT! When I used the .exe animation files
the CPU usage were olny 3-6%!!!!!
I REPEAT 3-6%!!!!
And semitrans shadows were perfect. /at the icons
I lost tramsparency, but I dont use icons at the dtop.
That means we have the right tool to
bring osx-like low resource animations to our desktop.
Look at the ss below, task manager shows the cpu time differences
between the two kind of animations.
Ill make an animation wich eats lower
cpu resource 1-5%.
BUT I NEED SOME INFORMATION!
Ive uploaded the animation file
called colors.exe
I would like to ask you to download it
and find out what kind of .exe file is that.
Wich was the application that made the .exe file.
Once I know wich is the right application Ill able to make
a perfect osx-like morphing desktop animation /low resource/
Second: If u hace a mac please try to figure out
the morping method /hue rotation, fade or whatever/
and post it to me.
And please post the picture/s that the morph uses.
