The one you're referring to is called the Genie effect. Simply, it is currently impossible.

anyway, you could have "effects" by using WindowsFX by Stardock
I think he means things like graphics rendering, and pulsating buttons, and the like...

I did try a search for it, but it came up empty...
Windowblinds supports button animations like in OSX and winfx can do genie like effects for minimizing and the sort. Its not really smooth on most machines though. Theyre stardock products so you can find them on www.stardock.com
V Animator can animate both the buttons and progress bars. Something no stardock program can do. It also puts a halo effect around text boxes and maybe even a few other things. You can get V Animator at this thread http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread....01&page=1&pp=20
hate to burst your bubble guys looks like mac have put a patent on the genie effect thus reason being why there aint no programs ! cause i dont think people want to pay up when apple su them.
