[Help] Firefox Registry Entries

Hiya People, how are you all?

I saw in the Firefox release thread that there were optimized builds by a person called Moox, so I downloaded and "installed" them, the only thing is that they were in zip files, thus didn't install any registry keys, which is a shame because I now cannot install Shockwave as it doesn't show Firefox browser or ask for alternatives.

So I was wondering if you guys knew what registry entries I needed to put in the get install programs to find Firefox?

Thank you very much.

Here's what I do to install Moox Build

1. Download the standard edition and install it

2. Install flash player for firefox standard edition

3. Download Moox Build

4. Delete in c:Program FilesMozilla Firefox all folders and files except plugins folder

5. Unzip Moox build on C:Program FilesMozilla Firefox

For me it works

Try this...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMozillaFirefox

GeckoVer = 1.0.1

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMozillaFirefoxbin

PathToExe = 'Your Firefox Install'firefox.exe

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMozillaFirefoxExtensions

Components = 'Your Firefox Install'Components

Plugins = 'Your Firefox Install'plugins

You may need to create these keys and values.

'Your Firefox Install' represents the directory you installed Firefox to.

Or you can edit the included reg file with your installation directory info and merge it.

Also, if you place all your plugins in the following location you won't ever have to worry about them again.

root:Documents and SettingsusernameApplication DataMozillaplugins

firefox.zip

Attachment: firefox.zip
